About This Course

Sidemount diving offers numerous advantages, such as increased redundancy, enhanced flexibility, and the ability to customize nearly every aspect of your setup. This course is designed to teach certified divers how to safely and effectively use sidemounted primary cylinders as an alternative to the traditional backmounted configuration. The training focuses on non-decompression diving, with a maximum depth limit of 40 meters (130 feet) or the student’s current certification depth, whichever is shallower.

In addition to in-person instruction, we integrate e-learning to give students the flexibility to engage with the course material at their convenience.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a globally recognized certification, allowing you to dive anywhere in the world. All registration fees are included!

Prerequisite 1

Age Requirement

Students must be 15+ years old to enroll in SDI Sidemount.

Prerequisite 2

Medical Clearance

All students need to pass a basic medical questionaire to confirm they are fit to dive and can safely participate in underwater activities.

Prerequisite 3

SDI Open Water (or Equivalent)

Students must be already certified as an SDI Open Water Diver (or equivalent) to enroll in this course.
